Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the office?

We are at 437 N. Olympic Ave Suite E in downtown Arlington. We are located on the 3rd floor of the building and have elevator or external stair access to the office. There is ample street parking or a gravel lot that is located in the back of the building for your convenience.

How is balanced Body physical therapy different than other physical therapy?

Our clinic stands out because of our personalized, patient-centered approach. We tailor treatment plans to each individual's needs. We are dedicated to clear communication and long-term wellness, helping you not just recover, but thrive. Plus, we offer flexible scheduling and a welcoming environment to make your recovery as smooth as possible.

What should I wear to my first visit?

On your first day we will be doing a lot of talking, initially, so wear loose, but comfortable clothing. We will take measurements, which may mean either removing or moving clothing up/down so that we can see the joints that we are working on. Depending on the type of visits, similar clothing is encouraged for all future visits.

IF I am being wrapped for lower body lymphedema, what kind of shoes are best?

The best option for footwear are sandals that do not have specific spaces for individual toes, but the sport version for the whole foot. Most athletic shoes will not fit over the wrapped foot.

Do you take insurance?

At this time we are currently out of network with all insurance companies, but are able to provide Superbills for patients to receive reimbursements for out of network benefits. We are able to accept cash, HSA (Health Savings Account), FSA (Flexible Spending Account), and HRA (Health Reimbursement Account) cards along with all major credit cards at this time.

Isn’t it better to go through insurance?

No, not always. There are many reasons to go through insurance, but just as many reasons not go through insurance. At Balanced Body Physical Therapy we reduce the costs on to the deductibles and copays, reduction with billing issues, flexibility in treatment scheduling, greater access to specialized and more personalized care.

How do i submit a superbill to my insurance?

We have a step by step guide that will help you submit your Superbill.
